The advantages of low chromium forging are mainly reflected in wear resistance, impact resistance, cost effectiveness and application range.
Wear resistance and impact resistance: low chromium wear forging shows good performance in wear resistance and impact resistance, although in the comparison of low and medium chromium steel forging and casting steel forging, low and medium chromium steel forging is slightly better in wear resistance and impact resistance, but low chromium wear forging still has higher hardness and strength, can withstand medium degree of wear and impact.
