High Chrome Grinding Ball
production Description
High-chromium steel balls are typically defined by chromium content of 10% or higher. Our products boast a remarkable chromium content of up to 30%, endowing them with exceptional hardness and wear resistance. They excel in withstanding high-intensity grinding and crushing operations, demonstrating remarkable toughness to endure even the most powerful impact loads. Furthermore, they offer an extended lifespan and superior cost-effectiveness. With these qualities, our high-chromium steel balls prove to be the ideal choice for enduring performance and exceptional value in various applications.
Chengda manufactures high chromium cast grinding media which is wear, corrosion and impact resistant helps in efficient ball mill grinding.
Our grinding media is tailor made for each milling application. There is wide range of alloying options which are decided after adequate test work and technical analysis. We manufacture grinding media with chrome content ranging from 0.8%t to 28% in sizes ranging from 4.6mm to 150mm as required by the application.
The main application areas of high chromium grinding ball
1.Steel industry: High chromium balls are used in the production process of cast steel and sintered pellets to improve production efficiency and product quality.
2.Cement industry: In cement manufacturing, high chromium balls are used to grind cement clinker, gypsum, etc., to improve the efficiency of coal mills and ball mills, reduce energy consumption, and improve product quality.
3.Mineral industry: High chromium balls are used for grinding metal ores and non-metallic ores to improve the efficiency of the mill, reduce energy consumption, and improve product quality
4.Power industry: mainly used for grinding pulverized coal and other fuels to ensure combustion efficiency and power generation efficiency, high wear resistance extends the life of the combustion chamber structure.
The main advantage of high chromium grinding ball
1.High hardness and wear resistance: more durable than ordinary grinding media, maintain particle size distribution and roundness for a long time.
2. High density: improve grinding efficiency
3. Low fracture rate: reduces the risk of producing additional wear particles and reduces the risk of damaging machinery and equipment.
4. Environmental protection: Compared with other abrasives such as glass beads, plastic balls, etc., it has better environmental protection.
